Synopsis
High school graduate Gong Xi gives up her chances for university in order to support her childhood friend and romantic goal, Bu Po Shang, in his pop career. Upon arraying in Taipei, Gong Xi starts working on multiple jobs in order to support Shang, whose popularity quickly rises, eventually becoming one of the top idols in Taiwan. One day, Gong Xi catches Shang flirting with his manager, and learns that he only used her so she can help him with his living expenses. Heart-broken and betrayed, Gong Xi vows to get revenge by becoming a bigger star than him. Gong Xi auditions for L.M.E, Taiwan's largest talent agency, and joins L.M.E's new found department "Love Me" wit Jiang Nan Qin, also a new recruit. At L.M.E. famous actor Dun He Lian, Disgusted by Gong Xi's reason for joining the show business, consistently find ways to annoy and taunt her. As Gong Xi acting career starts to take off, she begins to discover a new sense of identity and purpose, separate from her initial plans of revenge. Lian also eventually warms up to her, and although at first in denial, he finds himself falling more and more in love with her.

A top actor in L.M.E, he maintain a perfect public image. He is polite, kind, gentle, and popular amongst his female compatriots except to Gong Xi. He takes his acting seriously and objected to with Gong Xi's using revenge as her motive to join the showbiz industry. In Gong Xi's eyes, he is charming, suave, has a killer's smile but often takes the opportunities to make fun of her. It is a love and hate relationship. When Gong Xi started to find real love in acting and showed talent of it, their relationship evolved into that of delicate mentor-student relationship.

She worked hard to be a good child and picked up hotel hospitality and traditional tea ceremony skills. She was devoted to her childhood friend, Bu, who is the hotel owner's son. She continued her endless scarifies for him by leaving home with him to help him develop his music career. Before Bu become popular, she realized that she was only just a maid to him and bitterly resented it. Hurt, she vowed to take revenge by entering the showbiz industry.

Because of his ambition, he chose his agent as his final choice to enter the showbiz industry. The indirectly contributed to Gong Xi's determination to join the showbiz industry to take revenge.

Outwardly bright in appearance bu she is unable to forget a past event. She feels that as long as she can get hold of a script, she would be able to succeed. Although her acting is precise, she failed because, in the eyes of the L.M.E's president, she lacked love. She and Gong Xi's were rivals but later became good friends. Nan Qin is stubborn and unwilling to admit defeat as she thinks that she was born to be an actress and is confident about it.
